Charter flight to the Sossusvlei airstrip with breathtaking aerial views of the central highlands and desert. Check in at andBeyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.
Dawn into the dunes — Dune 45, Deadvlei, Big Daddy. Optional hot air balloon flight at first light, followed by a champagne breakfast in the desert.
Scenic flight north-west over the Namib dune sea and along the stretch of coast where the dunes meet the Atlantic. Land at Swakopmund and check in at the Strand Hotel.

A morning game drive in the eastern section of Etosha before the flight back to Windhoek. We meet you at Eros Airport and transfer you to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your onward flight — an evening departure gives the most comfortable margin.

Where a property is unavailable for your dates, we will propose an alternative of an equivalent standard and location, and confirm it with you before booking.
About the flights. Charter flights are operated by licensed Namibian air-charter companies that we book on your behalf; SLM Safaris is not an air operator. Schedules, aircraft and baggage allowances (typically a soft bag of around 20 kg per person) are set by the operator and are subject to weather and load. Your return flight lands at Eros Airport in Windhoek, and we include the road transfer to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your onward flight.
Wildlife is wild. Game drives are planned around the seasons, waterholes and movements that give the best realistic chance of rewarding sightings, but no operator can guarantee that any particular animal will be seen. Routes and drive times may be adjusted for road, weather or park conditions, always in consultation with you.
Namibia is a year-round destination, but each season offers something different. Here's what to expect when planning your safari — and what each window is best for.
Peak game-viewing season. Days are warm, nights cold. Animals concentrate around waterholes. Ideal for wildlife and photography.
The best wildlife months — Etosha's pans are at their busiest. Days are very hot. Book early as lodges fill up.
The wet months. Lush landscapes, dramatic skies, fewer crowds, lower rates. Birding is exceptional. Some roads can be tricky.
The desert can be visited any time. Cooler months are most comfortable, but the dunes are spectacular year-round.
